Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-20 Version: 1.5
These terms cover the use of our website at walteris.com. They are not the terms for the Walteris app or subscription — those are in our Terms of Service, which apply if you become a customer. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who runs this site
walteris.com is owned and operated by MB Energijos Ekspertai, company code 307141622, registered at Eduardo Andrė g. 14-5, LT-02232 Vilnius, Lithuania. VAT code LT100017885218. Contact: hello@walteris.com.
“Walteris”, the app this site describes, is a trade name of the same company.
2. Using the site
You may read the site, and print or download extracts for your own personal use. Everything on it — text, design, logos, charts and software — belongs to us or to our licensors, and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, republish, sell or otherwise re-use any of it commercially without our written permission, and you must not remove or alter any notice we have placed on it.
3. Do not rely on what you read here
The site is published for general information. It is not advice, and it is not a promise about what you will save. Any savings figure, chart or example shown here is a simulation for illustration: a past year replayed against historic day-ahead market prices plus a flat network charge per kilowatt-hour, for one modelled household. It is not a forecast of your bill. It leaves out VAT, fixed monthly and capacity charges, and the day-and-night structure of real network tariffs, and your own result depends on your tariff, your car, your driving and the market. What Walteris does and does not promise as a service is set out in the Terms of Service, sections 10 and 11.
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or omissions, and we are under no obligation to update it.
4. Registering for early access
If you register for early access at walteris.com, we ask for your email address and a few things about your setup: the make of your car and the phone you use (both optional), the type of electricity tariff you are on, whether you have solar panels and a home battery and, if so, the brand of the inverter or battery, the language you read in, and which of our campaign links brought you to the page. You may also give a phone number; it is optional, and we use it only to call or message you about early access and your own setup. Registering is your request to be contacted: about early access, about your own setup, and again when the app supports your equipment. It also helps us decide which cars and inverters to support next. We send you a confirmation email, and you are on the list only once you confirm it.
The form also has a separate, optional box for news and tips about the app, which starts unticked. Ticking it adds you to our product news; leaving it alone changes nothing about your registration. Every message we send has an unsubscribe link. The Privacy Policy, section 11, has the detail.
5. Availability
We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it without notice, and we are not liable to you if it is unavailable at any time.
6. What you must not do
You must not use the site unlawfully or fraudulently, introduce viruses or other harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to the servers and networks behind it, or attack it by denial of service. You must not scrape or harvest content by automated means, or place an unreasonable load on it. Doing any of these may be a criminal offence, and we will report it where appropriate.
You are responsible for your own device and for the virus protection on it.
7. Linking to us
You may link to our home page, provided you do so fairly and legally and in a way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. Do not frame the site within another one. We may withdraw permission to link at any time.
We are not responsible for sites we link to. Those links are not an endorsement, and we have not checked their content or their privacy practices.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from reliance on anything published on it. If you are using the site for business purposes, we are additionally not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms by updating this page. The version and date at the top tell you which version applies. Please check back from time to time.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes may be brought before the Lithuanian courts. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
