Charge smarter.
Pay less.

Charging that fits around your day, electricity prices and the solar forecast.

  • Plans charging for your car, your home battery, or both.
  • Helps you use more of your own solar.
  • When the sun will not be enough, picks the cheapest hours in advance.

First month free, then €2.99 a month for a car or a home battery, €4.99 for both. Cancel any time.

A home with solar panels, a home battery and a car. The labels show what happens at different times of day.
  • Night. The grid charges the car and the battery.

  • Morning. The battery powers the home, nothing is bought from the grid.

  • Day. The car and the battery charge, the home runs on its own energy.

  • Evening. The home runs on stored energy, the car waits for cheaper hours.

Meet the app

How it works

  1. 01Download the app

From the App Store or Google Play. No extra equipment to buy.

  2. 02Link your device

Add your car, your home battery, or both, in the app.

  3. 03Tell us about you

What does your week look like? What is your electricity tariff? Do you have solar panels? A home battery too?

  4. 04Enjoy

From then on, every time you plug in, the car charges at the cheapest times or from your own solar.

How much could you save?

We worked out how much an example household would have saved over 2025, if the app had planned the charging.

In this example
32%
lower charging costs

Charging in the cheap hours

In our example, charging planned by the app would have cost 32% less over 2025 than charging straight after plugging in.

Charging straight after plugging in€634
The app plans the charging€429
Saved over the year€205

Electricity costs only, without the app subscription.

How much electricity is produced and used?
Straight after plugging in
Planned by the app
A 10 kW solar plant produces:
Used by the house
Used to charge the car
Supplied to the grid
Left in the bank at the end of the period
The house needs:
A 150 m², B energy class house. Charging the car is not included.
Heating
Hot water
Appliances, lighting and other needs
Charging the car needs:
From your own solar plant
From the grid

This is a worked example, based on 2025 exchange prices, weather data and the chosen household assumptions. We compare charging straight after plugging the car in with charging planned by the app. What you save will depend on your electricity plan, your equipment and your charging habits.

We are still working on the methodology. These figures follow the method as it stood on 2026-09-17 and will change as we improve it.

About us

Managing a home’s energy has become a real puzzle. Prices that change every 15 minutes, solar panels on the roof, an electric car in the drive and a battery in the basement: getting all of that to pull together and save money takes real effort.

I have been in energy since 2015. I started with a doctorate on the electricity market, and since 2018 I have been building smart home products, from mobile apps and hardware to control algorithms.

I started Walteris so that this experience brings real benefit here, in Lithuania. Nobody wants to become an energy expert just to make good use of the equipment they already own. So we are building it together with its future users, to turn complicated processes into a tool that is simply easy to use.

Our plan

We start with charging. Then the rest of your home’s energy in one app.

  1. Live now

    Car

Charges when electricity is cheapest, or when your solar is producing.

  2. Live now

    Supplier and ESO plan

From your ESO meter data we show which supplier and ESO plan cost you least.

    Open the calculator →
  3. Live now

    Home battery

Fills when electricity is cheap or there is sun. Powers the home when electricity is expensive.

  4. Later

    Paid for helping the grid

When the grid is short of power, your car and battery will help it. You will be paid for it.

  5. Later

    Live consumption

How much your home is using right now, on your phone.

By registering you agree that we may email you about trying the app and tell you when it works with your car.

Common questions

Do I need solar panels?

No. If your electricity price changes through the day, the app plans charging for the cheapest hours. If you have solar, the app helps you use more of your own energy for the car or the home battery, even on a fixed price for electricity.

Can I use it with just an electric car?

Yes. Solar panels and a home battery are not required. The app plans your car’s charging around your day and your electricity price.

Will it work with my car?

Today it works with Tesla cars only. We add other makes according to interest. Register and tell us which car you drive. We will let you know when you can try it with yours.

Can I use it with just a home battery?

Yes. An electric car is not required. The app plans the battery’s charging around electricity prices and the solar forecast. If there will not be enough sun, it picks a cheaper time to charge in advance.

What does the app cost?

Try the first month free and see how much you save. After that, €2.99 a month for a car or a home battery, or €4.99 a month for both. You can cancel any time.

While you are here, check whether you could pay less for electricity.
